How many golf balls are in the lake on 18th hole at The Belfry?

The National Golf Club Challenge has teamed up with The Belfry and Sandals to offer one lucky winner a fantastic holiday to Emerald Bay, in the Bahamas. All you have to do is guess the number of golf balls in the lake that spans the 18th hole on the famous Brabazon Course at The Belfry.

The lake will be dredged by a dive team in September 2010 – a week before the Ryder Cup. The event will be attended by sports celebrities and include TV coverage.

The winner will be announced in the week of the Ryder Cup and invited to the National Golf Club Challenge Grand Final to be presented with their prize.

The funds raised by the sale of the recovered golf balls will be donated to Help for Heroes.

National Golf Club Challenge Competition Winner!

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the recent National Golf Club Challenge Motocaddy competition at the Scottish Golf Show was Graham McKellar from Lanarkshire. His prize was a brand new 2010 Motocaddy S1 Digital & Pro-Series Cart Bag with a value of £400! The National Golf Club Challenge teamed up with show organisers for the duration of the show and introduced Help for Heroes as the shows official benefiting charity. Together with various volunteers from the military the challenge team worked tirelessly on a number of features throughout the show over the course of the three days. Thanks to the generosity of Scottish golfers the show was a massive success for Help for Heroes raising almost £10,000 which is a truly remarkable effort.
